The location of this hotel is it's greatest feature. It's walking distance to shops and historical places and close to the train station.
The service was pretty decent, everyone was pleasant.
The place smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk into the lobby and it pretty much lingers throughout the hotel. Our room though did not smell.
The room was decent, basic, and needed to be updated badly. The carpets need to be replace and the beds as well. It's an old property that doesn't appear to have been updated in a long time.
The breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular.
Overall it was priced accordingly (we were visiting in the off season). -

Good location, but the room was dingy looking and the entire hotel, including our room, smelled of cigarette smoke. After a long day of travel , I was looking forward to a warm shower and there was no warm/hot water on the very first night we checked in. I spoke to the front desk person who could not understand my English and it was so frustrating. The saving grace was that we only had to spend two nights there.
